Now, let's get to know the person behind the professional title. When I'm not working, I cherish moments spent with my family and friends. I have a genuine passion for baking and experimenting with new recipes. Additionally, I'm a sucker for binge-worthy shows and don't mind re-watching my favorite series. Crafting, especially resin pouring, is another creative outlet I enjoy.
As Kenzi, I firmly believe in the power of our voices. Everyone deserves a safe space to heal and be authentically themselves during the healing process. Living in alignment with our values can make life more manageable. I'm dedicated to ensuring that women who have given birth don't suffer in silence. Moreover, I believe that women grappling with the loss of a child, whether through miscarriage or stillbirth, deserve a safe space to heal. Holding Space Counseling was founded with the mission of providing that supportive environment for women, no matter the journey they're on.
Feel free to explore my website and get in touch if you'd like to connect or learn more about how I can support you on your path to healing.
Yours truly,

About

Hey there! Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I'm Mackenzi Foreman, but you can just call me Kenzi. I'm the proud founder and owner of Holding Space Counseling, LLC, a private therapy practice dedicated to supporting the mental health of women. One of my passions is perinatal mental health, and I'm here to help women heal and live their best lives.
In terms of my background, I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Philander Smith University. In 2014, I graduated from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock with a master's in social work, and I'm a licensed certified social worker. Over the past nine years, I've worked extensively with adolescents and their families, particularly those dealing with emotional and behavioral challenges. I've also provided support to parents of babies with medical complexities. My therapy practice incorporates various techniques, including Cognitive Processing Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
